Note: Our new isolate is morphologically similar and phylogenetically related to Angustimassarina quercicola, but associated with a different host. Angustimassarina quercicola (holotype) was recorded on Quercus robur L. (Fagaceae) (Thambugala et al. 2015), while our collection was found on Rosa canina L. (Rosaceae).
